A large financial organization using an antiquated system of supplies replenishment for its statement processing system contracted with Evanhoe & Associates for a new supply replenishment system. Evanhoe & Associates provided a solution that employed wireless scanners to send data to a central PC, which then generated supplies requests and printed shipping labels. The system automated the Quality Assurance (QA) process for this financial organization, improving the organization’s ability to QA audit statements by over 200%.

Evanhoe & Associate’s supply replenishment system employed a wireless network to connect to a Toshiba B-SX4 label printer located in another part of the processing center and from there created supplies requests and shipping labels. As a part of this system, Evanhoe & Associates logged supplies requests to provide an analysis of trends and supplies usage. Formerly, this organization performed QA validation using hand written reports, and kept hardcopies for further review and analysis, but this system automated the QA process with Denso BHT-200 portable data terminals. These terminals analyzed the statement barcodes, resolving the data matrix with a remote database for validation of the contents of the statement, and then logged the detailed analysis, complete with timestamps, operator, and inspector information. This new system provided the organization with electronic data and reporting capabilities never before available to them.
